Art & Photography
I've been doing art most of life. I originally wanted to be an illustrator, based on my love of comic books and Ralph McQuarrie's work on Star Wars. Sometime during college, my focus switched to photography.

My Photography
I hope to have a gallery of my work here at some point.
I'm currently using a Canon Digital Rebel camera. I own a variety of toy film cameras. My favorites are my Ansco Pix Panoramas which I've moded with really fat apertures. I used to own a Rolleiflex 2.8F but I sold it on e-bay to a collector in South Korea.
Photoshop Work
- Photoshop CS and ImageReady CS Beta Splash Screens
- I found some really old Design & Photoshop work I did for a local theater group while cruising the web. This stuff is 7 years old, but it's kind of interesting
- The Lady From The Sea - I had two colors to work with so I designed this to only use the black channel and the cyan channel to do a faux duo-tone. This had to be Photoshop 3 or 4. I don't think they had spot colors back then.
- meFausto - Again, a two color limit. In this one I used the yellow channel and the black channel. I think I posterized portions of the yellow channel with curves.
- Don Juan - The Photoshop file for this one was just a greyscale image with a clipping path. All the other elements are Illustrator. Nothing original, but I like the way the shadows turned out.
- The Mountain Giants - I remember they had a more complex concept for this one, but I ended up scrapping that and just playing with scale. I can't remember if this was a duo-tone or not. The large eyeball is the woman's from another shot.
